Rehabilitation and Therapy Services

Community Orthopedic Surgery and Huron Valley Hand Surgery provides Physical and Occupational Therapy services for both upper and lower extremity conditions at all three office locations in Ypsilanti, Saline, and Brighton. Patients must be under the care of a Community Orthopedic Surgery and Huron Valley Hand Surgery physician to receive therapy services in our offices.

Who is a Certified Hand Therapist?

Many of our staff of experienced Occupational and Physical Therapists are Certified Hand Therapists specializing in the rehabilitation of patients with conditions affecting the hands and upper extremity.

Lower extremity patients are rehabilitated by our staff of physical therapists. Patients referred from the Community Orthopedic Surgery and Huron Valley Hand Surgery surgeons may receive post operative care, or rehabilitation after a fracture or other injury to their leg or foot.

All three of our therapy clinics provide the same wide variety of treatment options for all patients with state of the art equipment, the most effective treatment techniques, individualized professional treatment plans and one on one personal care.

Our therapists work together with the referring Community Orthopedic Surgery and Huron Valley Hand Surgery surgeon and the patient to develop an individualized home therapy program to assist each patient in achieving their fullest recovery with return to normal daily activities as quickly as possible.
